Personal Life & Experience
Since 2003, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals and small businesses navigate the often overwhelming world of taxes. From sole proprietors to corporations, I bring hands-on experience across a wide range of tax situations — always with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and personalized support.
I hold a Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) and maintain an Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) Record of Completion with the IRS each year. I’m also a proud member of the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA) and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). Staying current with tax law and accounting practices is important to me — I regularly update my knowledge through continuing education, training, and industry conferences.
Though my work is fully remote, I’m based in beautiful Alachua, Florida, where I live with my husband, our small dog, and within driving distance of my two daughters and two amazing grandchildren. When I’m not working, you’ll find me gardening, canning, traveling in our RV, or attending hands-on workshops that teach traditional skills — the kind I wish I’d learned from my grandmothers.
In my career, I’ve even had the unique opportunity to work with NASCAR and NHRA, experiences that reinforced the value of patience, honesty, and treating everyone with respect — regardless of their fame or fortune. I bring that same down-to-earth attitude and friendly, approachable style to every client relationship. Whether you need help cleaning up your books, filing your taxes, or getting your business finances on track, I’m here to help — with no stuffy office visits required.

Joining us remotely from Culpeper, Virginia, Bethany brings a wealth of experience and a personal touch
to the Hometown Accountant team.
She earned her Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix in 2009 and began working with us in April 2022 as an independent bookkeeper.
Bethany is passionate about helping clients keep their financial records clean, accurate, and stress-free. Her attention to detail and dedication to personalized service make her an invaluable part of our client support team.
When she’s not working, Bethany enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing on her farm with her beloved dogs.

A proud New Jersey native, Leann still lives there with her husband, two children, and their family dogs.
