IRS Payment Status

According to "those in the know" the IRS will start Direct Depositing relief checks on Monday, April 13th and will begin mailing checks on Monday, May 4th.

If you are not required to file a tax return and you are not receiving a check from the Social Security Administration, you can file an Economic Injury Payment return.

How will I know when I'm getting my money & what if the IRS doesn't have my bank information?

Soon you will also be able to update your information with the IRS with their new "Get My Payment" tool, available April 17th. To help everyone check on the status of their payments, the IRS is building a second new tool that will provide people with the status of their payment and allow eligible people the ability to update their direct deposit information.
